Why the Verizon Coaxial Network Adapter?

In today's high-bandwidth, multiple-device home networking world, the need for flexibility is paramount. The Verizon Coaxial Network Adapter is a big part of that flexibility, allowing you to use the existing coaxial network in your home, condominium, apartment complex, or other residential structure, and use it for high-speed Internet access. With the Coaxial Network Adapter (paired with your Verizon FiOS Router), you can have up to 270 Mbps of Ethernet bandwidth flowing from any coaxial port in your building. No need to disturb your infrastructure and lay yards of cable to hook up your gaming console, Blu-ray player, or Internet-enabled HDTV. No need to depend on the whims of wireless networking. The Verizon Coaxial Network Adapter brings you rock-solid reliability and high-performance Verizon FiOS networking wherever and whenever you need it.

Product Description

The Verizon Coaxial Network Adapter is a high-speed bridge that takes your coaxial network and, in conjunction with a FiOS router like the Verizon FiOS Router, delivers Ethernet networking access anywhere you have a coaxial port. Now, you can access or move massive multimedia files (such as high-resolution digital movies, for instance) around your Verizon FiOS home network with ease and little or no degradation. The Coaxial Network Adapter coexists with the Verizon FiOS home network, and is easy to set up, easy to use, and easy to maintain.
